Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
It appears that the petitioner, in the presence of the husband of the informant stated to have taken some money being an agent of a ‘Ponzi Firm’. But, when the informant demanded to return back the money, which was invested, there was no return of money as promised.
Considering the facts and submissions made, especially the nature of accusation, character of materials appearing against the petitioner in support of the charge, circumstances in which the offences alleged to have been committed, nothing being there on record that her release on pre-arrest bail shall be an hindrance to free and fair investigation and hardly any material being there to suggest that the petitioner is likely to abscond and/or tamper with the prosecution evidence, if released on bail, this Court directs that in the event of arrest of the petitioner in connection with the aforesaid case, she be released on bail by the Officer effecting arrest on such terms and conditions as deemed just and proper.
However, the aforesaid order is subject to the condition that the petitioner shall co-operate with the investigation.
