Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
By way of this writ petition, in the nature of Public Interest Litigation, the petitioner came before this Court in the year 2007 challenging the allotment of a public land in favour of opposite party Nos. 3 to 6 way back in the year 1987.
After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition with a liberty to make a representation to the appropriate authority.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case of the petitioner, prayer for withdrawal is allowed. It is open for the petitioner to make representation before the appropriate authority within one month from today. If such representation is filed, the authority concerned shall dispose of the representation within six months from the date of receipt of same on its own merit.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of as withdrawn.
