Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an old man who is now at his eighty and in view of the pendency of the mutation case before the opposite party, his sufferance is undescribable. He, therefore, prays for disposal of the writ application at this stage with necessary direction.
Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that if said petition is pending for decision, the opposite party would do well to take up the same for early disposal.
Considering the submissions made and in view of the limited nature of the prayer as is now advanced, this writ application is disposed of with a direction to the opposite party (Tahasildar, Cuttack Sadar) to take all effective steps for disposal of the Mutation Case No. 330 of 2006 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
