Perused the record. The petitioner has filed this application to quash the order dated 30.10.2003 and 03.12.2002 vide Annexure-3 series so far as the petitioner is concerned, where the application for VRS submitted by the petitioner has been accepted and further seeks for direction to reinstate the petitioner in service with consequential service benefits.
Mr. P. Jena, learned counsel for opposite parties contended that the petitioner has filed this application for voluntary retirement and the same has been accepted, and after acceptance of the application for voluntary retirement, the petitioner applied for withdrawal of the same. It is contended that once the VRS application has been accepted, the same cannot be withdrawn.
Considering the contention raised by learned counsel for the opposite party, since the VRS application has been accepted, the same cannot be withdrawn after such acceptance. Thereby, this Court does not find any merit in this writ application. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
