This appeal by the appellant-Union of India,
represented through the General Manager, East Coast Railways, Bhubaneswar, is directed against the judgment/award dated 01.2.2018, passed by the Railway Claims Tribunal, Bhubaneswar Bench, Bhubaneswar, in O.A.No.362 of 2014, awarding an amount of Rs.8,00,000/along with interest @ 6% per annum from 01.1.2017, to the date of this order, to be deposited within 90 days, failing which interest @ 8% per annum shall be payable from the date of default, till realization.
Considering the submissions made and keeping in view the findings of the learned Tribunal as given in the impugned award and the reasons assigned in support of the same, no impropriety or illegality can be said to have been committed by the learned Tribunal, so as to warrant any interference in this appeal.

The appellant is directed to deposit the awarded compensation amount of Rs.8,00,000/- along with interest @ 6% per annum from 01.01.2017, i.e., the date of revised schedule of compensation came in vogue, with the learned Tribunal within six weeks hence.
F.A.O. is accordingly disposed of.
