Perused the record.
The petitioner has filed this application against inaction of police authority in not registering the FIR pursuant to the written report submitted in Annexure-1.
Mr. A.K.Mishra, learned Addl. Government Advocate states that in view of the law laid down by the apex Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh and others, (2014) 2 SCC 1, written report should be registered by the police.
In that view of the matter, this Court directs opposite party no.2, Inspector-in-Charge, Nimapara Police Station to register the written report filed by the petitioner and take follow up action in accordance with law as per the judgment in Lalita Kumari (supra).
With the above observation and direction, the CRLMP stands disposed of.
