The petitioner, being in custody in Nayakote P.S. Case No.16 of 2018 corresponding to G.R. Case No.305 of 2018 pending in the court of the learned S.D.J.M., Keonjhar for the alleged commission of offence under sections 498-A/302/304-B/494/34 of the I.P.C., has filed this application under section 439, Cr.P.C. for his release on bail.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.
Considering the submissions made and on going through the materials available on record as also keeping in view the surrounding circumstances; I am not inclined to accept the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner at this stage.
The BLAPL is disposed of accordingly.
