The petitioner having been implicated in Balianta P.S. Case No.190 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. Case No.699 of 2017 on the file of learned J.M.F.C.(O), Bhubaneswar for alleged commission of offence under sections 498-A/ 294/323/307/420/313/420-B/34 IPC and section 4 of the D.P. Act has filed this application for grant of bail in the event of his arrest in the said case.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
Considering the submissions made and keeping in view the nature of accusations against this petitioner as well as the surrounding circumstances of the case, in the absence of any other impediment, it is directed that in the event the petitioner surrenders before the court in seisin of the case within a period of two weeks hence and moves for his release on bail, he shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as would be deemed just and proper by the said court with further condition that he will appear on each date of posting of the case till conclusion of the trial and will not terrorise or threaten the prosecution witnesses including the complainant and shall not indulge in any criminal activity.
The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
