13. 8.9.2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned
counsel for the opp.parties-Bank.
This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to the opp.p
arties-bank to settle the five loan accounts of the petitioners by way of One Time Settlement.
Learned counsel for the opp.parties-Bank fairly submits that the OTS S
cheme-2017 approved by the State Government vide letter dated 23.3.2017 is still valid and ope
rative and the petitioners may avail the benefit of the said scheme by filing appropriate appl
ication.
In view of such submission, the writ petition is disposed of granting
liberty to the petitioners to approach the Bank for availing OTS Scheme-2017 by filing appropr
iate application.
It is needless to say that the Bank shall consider the application of
the petitioners in terms of the OTS Scheme-2017, as has been approved by the State Government
and as has been done in other similar cases.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
