07. 15.12.2016 Ms.Arpita Khatua, the I.I.C. of Koira P.S. appears in
Court today along with the alleged victim, namely, Sebati Patra.
Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Learned counsel for the State submits that the alleged victim has been
recovered from Rourkela and thereafter, she was produced before the learned S.D.J.M., Bonai o
n 13.12.2016 and her statement has already been recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C.
It is appropriate to record herein that the victim is aged about 31 ye
ars and she states in Court that she would like to go back and stay with her parents.
In view of the above, nothing survives for consideration in the presen
t writ application filed in the nature of habeas corpus and accordingly, the same stands dispo
sed of.
