21.12.2016 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the fact that in th
e meantime the vehicle has already been released, he does not want to press this writ applicat
ion and he may be granted liberty to file another writ application for making prayer not to ch
arge the tax liability on the petitioner for the period when the vehicle was unauthorizedly in
possession of the opposite parties.
Accordingly, the writ application is disposed of as not pressed. The petitione
r is at liberty to file any such writ application.
