03. 13.11.2015 No counsel appears on behalf of either party due to ab
staining from work by the Members of the Orissa High Court Bar Association.
 Heard Sri Birendra Kumar Pasayat, father guardian of Haimabati Pasayat
 (minor).

 This writ application has been filed by the petitioner seeking directi
on to opposite party Nos.3-Convener, ANM Selection Committee and opposite party No.4- Chief Di
strict Medical Officer-cum-Chairman of Nodal Selection Committee, Sundargarh to consider admis
sion of the petitioner into the two years ANM training course as per her rank.
 Although no counsel is present for the opposite parties, in connected
matters this Court had disposed of the similar issue keeping in view the fact that the Indian
Nursing Council has extended the last date of admission into such course till 27th November, 2
015.

 Considering the above, we dispose of the present writ application dire
cting the opposite parties to consider the application of the petitioner and offer her a seat
in any available college for ANM training as per her rank/merit given by the Convener. The pet
itioner is also at liberty to produce the certified copy of this order before opposite party N
os.3 & 4 for necessary communication. It is made clear that if for any reason, no seat is avai
lable in the allotted college, in that event, the opposite parties shall do well to offer the
petitioner a seat in a nearby training centre.

n course of the day.
