2. This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioners with a prayer to direct the oppos
ite parties that on bifurcation of Rajendrapur Grama Panchayat under Bhandaripokhari Block in
the district of Bhadrak, Badakanmtapada Grama Panchayat be created as new Grama Panchayat incl
uding the contiguous villages namely Ranipada, Tentulia, Badasasan, Sanasasan Bahadulnagar, Bi
mbalabar, Manantagadia.

The Government of Odisha in the Department of Panchayati Raj in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 149 of the Odisha Grama Panchayat Act, 1964 have issued a notificatio n on 01.7.2015 under Annexure-2 regarding reorganization and delimitation of the Gramas. In pu rsuance of the said notification, step was taken for reorganization of Grama Panchayats in the district of Bhadrak.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that though the petitioners ha
ve filed a representation before the Collector, Bhadrak opposite party no.2 under Annexure-3
series highlighting their grievance since long, no action has been taken as yet.

5. Considering the above, this Court disposes of this Writ Petition with a direction to t
he Collector, Bhadrak opposite party no.2 to dispose of the representation filed by the petit
ioners under in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a per
iod of four weeks from the date of production of

certified copy of this order along with a copy of this Writ Petition, after giving opportunity
 of hearing to the parties. The petitioners shall produce the certified copy of this order bef
ore opposite party no.2 on or before 09.10.2015.
