In compliance with the previous order of this Tribunal dated 27.10.2025, the Respondent No.3 - Municipal Corporation, Bhilwara, has filed its reply dated 24.10.2025, wherein it is submitted that it has made detailed assessment of the existing sewage discharge system and formulated a comprehensive work plan for construction of waste water nalla at Gandhi Sagar Talab, Bhilwara, and the work order has been awarded to one Shri Mohammad Arif of Udaipur. This project is aimed at intercepting, diverting and channelizing the untreated sewage entering the lake and ensuring complete elimination of such discharge. The project commenced on 23.05.2025 and is targeted for completion by 22.05.2026. It is also submitted that the project will be commissioned by 31.03.2026.

The learned Counsel for the Applicant Mr. Lokendra Singh Kachhawa states that the reply affidavit of Respondent No.3 is not adequate because so far as the completion of project is concerned, he has no

objection to that but in the meantime for the interim period, there should be some alternative arrangements made for diversion of untreated sewage.

We are not in agreement by the argument made by the learned Counsel for the Applicant because the procedure for stopping the untreated water going into the Gandhi Sagar Lake is already underway and that the project which has been started for this is also going to be completed by 31.03.2026, that seems to be a reasonable time. For the interim period, we do not intend to pass any such order for temporary diversion of untreated sewage. The Respondents shall complete the project on time and shall take care of the untreated sewage.

With above observations, we dispose of the present Original Application accordingly.
