In compliance with the previous order of this Tribunal, the Joint Committee has submitted its report which has expressed after conducting the site inspection that the sandalwood tree plantation is not adequately protected as the boundary wall is found to be damaged because of which unauthorized entry takes place inside the University. It is also observed that proper surveillance is required to be introduced through installation of CCTV cameras/providing security guards at the site in question.

No.4), the above measures suggested by the Joint Committee need to be taken by the said Institution.

The learned Counsel for the State, Mr. Prashant M. Harne, undertakes to make compliance on behalf of the Respondent No.4.

In view of above undertaking, we direct the Respondent No.4 - Barkatullah University, Bhopal, being represented by the State Counsel, to ensure that the wall which is found to be broken of the University premises should be got repaired within a period of one month so that no unauthorized entry takes place inside the premises. Further, we direct that within that time period, at least two CCTV cameras be also installed at strategic places so that surveillance is properly kept at the site in question. In case any culprit is found to be cutting the tree or entering the premises with ill motive of cutting the tree, the same would be held accountable and would be prosecuted in accordance with law.
