This OA has been registered based on the letter petition sent by one Raman Sharma resident of CW-58, FF, Malibu Town, Sector -47, Gurugram-122018. In the letter petition, the Applicant has raised a grievance about the spread of dirty water from sewers in public places and causing air pollution and polluting underground water by the 3 Government premises, namely Office of the CMO Gurgaon, MCG building Sector 39, Gurgaon, Mini Secretariat, Sector 11, Gurgaon and office of the Joint Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Sansadan Bhavan, Sector 32, Gurgaon.

It is alleged that near these premises there is the issue of water logging and collecting of mixed waste. It is also alleged that the sewage water has been going for since long on roads and open areas and causing pollution in the concerned areas and in spite of the complaint no action has been taken.

The applicant has enclosed the photographs along with the letter petition to substantiate the allegation. A perusal of the letter petition reveals that the Applicant is raising a localized issue which, at the first instance, needs to be considered and examined by the Member Secretary, HSPCB.

Shri Rahul Khurana, Advocate, has appeared on advance notice on behalf of the Member Secretary HSPCB, and MCG has submitted that the complaint of the Applicant will be duly looked into and appropriate remedial action will be taken. Hence, we disposed of the OA directing the Member Secretary, HSPCB, to duly look into the grievance of the Applicant and take appropriate remedial action. The Municipal Corporation Gurgaon will extend due cooperation to the Member Secretary in taking the remedial action.

Let a copy of this letter petition along with order be forwarded to the Member Secretary, HSPCB for appropriate action.
