[1] Heard Mr. S. Inaocha, learned counsel appears on behalf of the petitioner; Mr. S. Niranjit, learned Government Advocate appears on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 to 3 and Mr. Deepak Prasad Sahu, learned counsel appears on behalf of the respondent Nos. 5-11 and none appears on behalf of the respondent No.4.

[2] Petitioner’s father is the owner of the land under Patta No.70/183, C.S Dag No.100/276 located at Village No.5- Irong Chesaba of Thoubal District. Vide order dated 21.11.2000 issued by Collector, Land Acquisition, Thoubal, a piece of land measuring an area of 1.86 acre at Village No.5- Irong Chesaba, Thoubal was acquired for construction of Irong Khunou Water Supply Scheme. It is stated that the land belonging to respondent No.4 was acquired and vide subsequent letter dated 19.07.2006, the said area of land acquired was reduced from 1.86 acre to 1.00 acre thereafter, an order dated 22.07.2006 issued by Deputy

Commissioner/Collector, Land Acquisition, Thoubal gave a revised settlement of acquisition of 1(one) acre belonging to the father of the petitioner as well as from the respondent No.4. By the present petition, the petitioner prayed for demarcating this land and not to disturb the possession of the petitioner in acquisition land. The State respondent has filed counter affidavit stating that memorandum dated 08.03.2021 has already been finalized by Sub Divisional Officer, Lilong and as such, the demarcation proceeding has already been concluded.

[3] Mr. S. Inaocha, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not received a copy of the memorandum of the demarcation dated 08.03.2021 as stated by the learned Government Advocate. The similar demarcation as prayed for by the petitioner, has also been concluded by drawing a memorandum dated 08.03.2021 by SDO, Lilong. This Court is of the view that the present writ petition can be disposed of at this stage by directing the authorities specially SDO, Lilong to furnish a copy of the memorandum dated 08.03.2021 along with the measurement and connected documents within a period of 2(two) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

[4] With the above observations, the present petition is disposed of and M.C is also disposed of. Interim order, if any, is operating, it stands vacated.
