[1] Heard Mr. Mayonkui Ngalung, learned counsel for the petitioner/applicant and Mr. S. Niranjan, learned GA for the State respondents.
[2] The petitioner no. 1 in writ petition being WP(C) No. 34 of 2025 filed the present application being MC(WP(C)) No. 637 of 2026 for deleting his name and withdrawing as petitioner no. 1 from WP(C) No. 34 of 2025 without prejudice the rights of the other petitioner nos. 2 & 3. He has already settled his dispute with respondent no. 4 and the learned counsel for the applicant in MC(WP(C)) No. 637 of 2026 submits that the prayer may be allowed.
[3] In the circumstances, MC(WP(C)) No. 637 of 2026 is allowed and the name of the applicant is deleted from the array of parties as petitioner no. 1 in WP(C) No. 34 of 2025 and the same writ petition will be pursued by the remaining petitioner nos. 2 & 3.
[4] List the main writ petition on 04.11.2026.
