[1] Captioned matters are listed under the cause list caption ‘ FOR MEDIATION REPORT’.

[2] In the civil revision petition, there is one revision petitioner and 4(four) respondents.

[3] In the hearing today, Ms. U. Manganlleima Chanu, learned counsel on record for the sole revision petitioner and Mr. Md. Shakir Khan, (along with learned counsel Mr. Johnson N), learned counsel for all 4(four) respondents are before this Court (physical Court).

[4] Mediation report is before this Court, from the submissions of afore-referred learned counsel on both sides and from the mediation report, it

comes to light that mediation was successful and the matter has been settled and terms of settlement have been reduced to writing in the mediation report itself (to be noted, mediation report is dated 08.09.2026) and a scanned reproduction of mediation report is as follows:

[5] Afore-referred learned counsel on both sides pointed out in one voice in unison that the sole revision petitioner and 4 (four) respondents have signed the mediation report and both counsel made a joint request for disposal of captioned CRP (Civil Revision Petition) and captioned MC (Miscellaneous Case) thereat in terms of the settlement terms captured in mediation report which has been scanned and reproduced supra. This common/joint request is acceded to.

[6] As would be evident from the terms of settlement (mediation report) more particularly clause 3 thereat, the 4(four) respondents in the captioned CRP/MC have agreed to withdraw O.S. No.17 of 2026 with Judl. Misc. No.79 of 2026 thereat now on the file of ‘Chief Judicial Magistrate-cumCivil Judge Senior Division, Bishnupur’ (‘said trial court’ for the sake of convenience and clarity). To be noted, ‘O.S. No.17 of 2026’ on the file of the said trial court shall be referred to as ‘said suit’ for the sake of convenience and clarity.

[7] Ms. Manganlleima Chanu, learned counsel for revision petitioner submits that she is counsel on record for all 3 (three) defendants in the said suit in the said trial court and learned counsel undertakes to produce this order in the said trial court in the next hearing which is scheduled to be held on 13.10.2026. This submission is recorded. On production of a copy of this order, said trial court shall give a closure to said suit together with all Judl. Misc. cases thereat recording that the same stand withdrawn. Mr. Md. Shakir Khan, learned counsel for all 4 (four) respondents in the captioned CRP and captioned MC

thereat who are plaintiffs in the said suit in the said trial court agrees to this course of action. To be noted, Mr. Md. Shakir Khan, learned counsel also undertakes to furnish a copy of this order to Mr. Ajit Singh H. (Chamber colleague of Mr. Md. Shakir Khan), learned counsel on record for plaintiffs in the said suit in the said trial court who in turn will also produce it in the said trial court on 13.10.2026.

[8] To be noted, irrespective of whether this order is produced in said trial court on 13.10.2026 by learned counsel for revision petitioner (who is counsel for all three defendants in said suit in said trial court) and/or counsel for respondents (plaintiffs) or not, said trial court shall give a closure to said suit together with all Judl. Misc. Cases thereat in the aforesaid manner on instant order being uploaded in the official website of this Court.

[9] To be noted, as regards defendant Nos. 2 & 3, Ms. U. Manganlleima Chanu (as captured supra) has submitted that she is counsel on record for all 3 (three) defendants and any event, defendant Nos. 2 & 3 cannot object/oppose withdrawal of suit against them. However, if they have any rights, the same will stand preserved for being canvassed in an appropriate manner before appropriate fora/court, if so advised, if so desired and if such need arises. If such a scenario unfurls such court/fora shall consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law.

[10] To be noted, said civil suit was filed after captioned CRP and captioned MC thereat i.e, pending captioned CRP and captioned MC thereat. For further clarity and specificity, this Court deems it appropriate to record that

from the District & Sessions court website, it comes to light that said suit has been filed on 01.04.2026 only whereas captioned CRP and captioned MC thereat were filed on 17.12.2025 and notice was ordered by this Court on 18.12.2025. It is also relevant to record that this Court on 18.12.2025 issued notice to respondents (notice returnable by 12.02.2026). On service of notice, all 4 (four) respondents entered appearance through counsel by filing vakalatnama dated 09.02.2026. After 12.02.2026, there was one more listing on 11.03.2026, thereafter the 4 (four) respondents have joined together and filed the said suit in said trial court on 01.04.2026.

[11] In the light of the narration thus far, captioned CRP and captioned MC thereat are disposed of in terms of mediation report dated 08.09.2026 which shall now form part of instant order.
