[1] Heard Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P. Tamphamani, learned counsel for the respondent.
[2] It is submitted at the bar that the direction of this Court in order dated 26.03.2026 in Cril. Pet. No. 76 of 2025 to depute an Investigating Officer (I.O.) not below the rank of Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) has already been complied by issuance of order dated 14.07.2026 appointing SDPO, Churachandpur as the I.O. of the case.
[3] In the circumstances, the cause of present contempt petition does not survive. Copy of the order dated 14.07.2026 is furnish by the learned counsel for the respondent during the course of hearing.
[4] Recording the subsequent development, Cont. Cas(C) J2 No. 2 of 2026 is closed.
