[1] Heard Ms. Th. Ranjeeta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. H. Samarjit, learned PP assisted by Mrs. RK. Emily, learned Dy. G.A. for the State respondent.
[2] Ms. Th. Ranjeeta, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has been released on default bail vide order dated 22.08.2026 and hence the present bail application has become infructuous and it may be closed.
[3] Mr. H. Samarjit, learned PP for the state respondent, submits that this Court may pass appropriate order.
[4] Recording the submissions made at the bar and with the subsequent released of the petitioner on default bail, the cause of the writ petition does not survive and accordingly, closed.
