ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to modify the entry made as urban surplus land revenue record

in respect of plot no 153 of 6.91 cents in Survey No.54/2 at Archana nagar Melapalayam village Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District and issue patta to the petitioner based on the representation dated 09.01.26 and pass an order within a stipulated time which may be fixed by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader on written instructions submitted that the petitioner had purchased the subject in 1989 and it clearly falls under the benefits of G.O.Ms.No.565 Revenue Department dated 26.09.2008. If the petitioner submits a new application, the same would be considered in the light of the said G.O.

3.Therefore, the petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application to the second respondent within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent shall consider the petitioner's application in the light of G.O.Ms.No.565 Revenue Department dated 26.09.2008 within a period of 5 months from the date of receipt of the application.
