The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a Mandamus to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 29.12.2025 and directing the second respondent to make corrections in the birth certificate of petitioner's son M.Mohammed Luqmaan bearing Registration Number B-2019:33-15926-000053, dated 24.04.2025 issued by the second respondent by changing the father's name from “S.Ejaz Ahamed” to M.Mohammed Azarudeen” and change his initial from “E” to “M”.

According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner got married to one Mrs.Naz Parveen and a male child was born to them on 06.04.2019, who was named as M.Mohammed Luqmaan. They have registered his birth on 10.04.2019 and a Birth Certificate was issued on 06.06.2019 and they have downloaded the Birth Certificate on 06.06.2019. However, when they attempted to download another Birth Certificate, they found that the name of the father is mentioned as S.Ejaz Ahamed and the name of the child is mentioned as E.Abu Zain. given a representation to the respondents on 29.12.2025 to change the name of the father and the initial and issue fresh Birth Certificate. Since the same has not been considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents has received written instructions from the first respondent to the effect that the name of the petitioner was never deleted and the name of the petitioner's son was never altered to E.Abu Zain by them. According to him, such Certificate is not available online.

4. In view of the above said facts, the request of the petitioner does not require any consideration since correct Birth Certificate is available online indicating the name of the petitioner as the father of Mr.Mohammed Luqmaan.

5. With the above said observation, this Writ Petition stands disposed
