This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of the lands in S.Nos.159/2, 159/3, 160/1, 160/2A, 160/2B, 160/4, 161/1A, 161/2, 161/3, 161/4A, 161/5A and 161/5B, situated at Karadikulam Village, Kayathar Taluk, Tuticorin District, by considering the petitioner’s Application No. 2022/0103/28/341965, dated 20.07.2022.

2 . Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submits that the petitioner himself has sold the lands to the second respondent.

3 . The said fact is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent.
