PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to set right the drooping overhead low tension electric lines passing through the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.208/10 situates at Ward No.5 Karungulam, Tiruchirappalli District by properly aligning the same within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the

respondents to set right the drooping overhead low tension electrical lines passing through the petitioner property situated in S.No.208/10, Ward No.5, Karungulam, Tiruchirappalli District.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 2 to 5 submits that they will take up the work rectifying the sagging of the electrical lines.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 6^th

respondents submits that he has no objection whatsoever for taking up the said work. The said fact is recorded.

In view of the above said facts, the respondents 4 and 5 are directed to set right the dropping overhead low tension electrical line passing through the property of the petitioner. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of 6(six) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of.

No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
