Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 22.06.2026 seeking transfer of the petitioner’s son namely Karthi @ Karthikeyan, Convict No.375354, presently confined in Central Prison, Vellore, to Central Prison, Trichy under the Open Air Prison as per Chapter XXXVI of the Tamil Nadu Prison Rules, 1983, by taking into account his good conduct, reformation and eligibility.
