This Writ Petition is instituted by the wife, one M.Pandiyan, son of Mani, who is a life convict (No.2416), confined in Central Prison I, Puzhal, Chennai.
She seeks a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation filed by her on 21.06.2025 for premature release of her husband under the 20 year premature release policy scheme under Letter FS.No.1358 Home dated 10.11.1994.
who have undergone 20 years of actual imprisonment on humanitarian grounds, based on various parameters set out thereunder.
