This writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondents to defreeze the petitioner’s Savings Bank Account No.11024006677 maintained with the 3rd Respondent Bank and permit normal operation of the said account, which has been illegally frozen pursuant to the notice issued by the 4th respondent in Cr.No.68/2025 pending investigation, by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 19.01.2026 within the time frame that may be fixed by this court.

It is seen that the petitioner is holding bank account with the

third respondent in Savings Bank Account No.11024006677. On the request of the fourth respondent, the third respondent froze the petitioner’s bank account.

W.P.Crl.No.442 of 2026 disputed amount is Rs.3,46,500/- in respect of registration of FIR in crime No.68 of 2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 66, 66(D) of IT Act and 318(4) & 319(2) of BNS. Further, after freezing the petitioner’s account, the disputed amount was debited and credited to the victim’s bank account. Now, the petitioner is permitted to operate his account.

4. Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed.
