This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed challenging the order passed by the 2 nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.19/Sa.Mu.Aa/O.P.S/2025, dated 12.08.2025 and quash the same, consequently allow the petitioner to conduct protest at nearby Anna Statue at Omalur Bus Stand, Omalur Town, Salem District on any date fixed by this Court.

When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submits that the representation of the petitioner has already considered and rejected by the 1 st respondent by order dated 25.08.2025 and the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.

3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition (Criminal) is dismissed as infructuous. However, the petitioner is at liberty to make fresh representation seeking police protection on fresh cause of action. No costs.
