This writ petition is filed for the following relief:

petitioner’s application dated 17.07.2024 sent for granting domestic electricity service connection for the house situate at S.F.No.155, Boyar Colony, Kangeyam Road, Nallur, Tiruppur, within a stipulated period without insisting on No objection Certificate from the 2^nd respondent.”

The petitioner has applied for domestic electricity service

connection for the above said property with due formats and enclosures on 17.07.2024. The case of the petitioner is that the 1^st respondent herein has not taken any steps to provide domestic electricity connection to the above said property. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court for the aforesaid relief.

The learned Standing Counsel for the 1^st respondent would

submit that if an online application is submitted, it would be considered.

Therefore, the petitioner is directed to make an online application within a period of 2 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the 1^st respondent shall provide domestic electricity service connection on the basis of the indemnity without insisting on No Objection Certificate, within a period of 2 weeks therefrom.
