PRAYER: This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records connected with the GO Ms.No.179, School Education (EE1(2)) Department, dated 06.09.2013 issued by the 1st respondent and quash the same as per as the petitioner is concerned and consequently to direct the respondents to grant the petitioner special grade in the post of Elementary School Headmaster with effect from 03.12.1991 with all attendant service and pension benefits.

It is seen from the records that on earlier occasions i.e., on 14.06.2025,

24.11.2025, 02.03.2026 & 20.04.2026, when the matter was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner either in person or through his counsel. Therefore, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption ''for dismissal''. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, today also there is no representation for the petitioner.

2.It appears that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the case. Hence, this Court has no other option except to dismiss this petition for nonprosecution.

Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No

costs.
