In response to the petitioner’s allegation regarding inaction on the part of the official respondents in taking action against respondent No.6 for engaging in illegal quarrying, learned State Counsel placed before the Court a copy of the communication dated 06.01.2026, addressed to the State counsel by the Assistant Director, Geology and Mining, Namakkal, along with copy of show cause notice dated 24.10.2025, issued to respondent No.6 on the allegation of illegal quarrying. The same is taken on record.
