This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation, dated 02.09.2024, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner has made a representation, dated 02.09.2024 before the respondents seeking disbursement of gratuity, Special Provident fund, Encashment of Earned Leave and Encashment of Unearned leave on private affairs. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.09.2024, as expeditiously as possible.

Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 02.09.2024 will be considered and appropriate order will be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Accordingly, the respondents are directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation, dated 02.09.2024, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner’s representation.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
