The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to respondents 1 to 4 to disburse a sum of ₹1,07,705/- to the fifth respondent, comprising the bill amount of ₹1,01,035/- and labour charges of ₹6,670/-.

The petitioner states that he served as the President of Silambur Village Panchayat, Andimadam Taluk, Ariyalur District, from 2020 to 2025. During his tenure, certain works were carried out through the fifth respondent, for which the petitioner claims to have initially borne the expenses. According to the petitioner, he submitted a representation dated 14.07.2026 to respondents 1 to 4 seeking reimbursement of the amount. His grievance is that the said representation has not yet been considered.

Learned Government Counsel, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner’s representation dated 14.07.2026 would be considered in accordance with law within the time that may be fixed by this Court.

Recording the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 14.07.2026 in accordance with the Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Preparation of Plans and Estimates for Works and Mode and
