COMMON ORDER

Mr. L. Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners in W.P. Nos. 26693 & 26757 of 2021, submits that pursuant to the orders of this

Court, the petitioners (in all the present writ petitions) were permitted to participate in the oral test. He further submits that by an order dated 20.12.2021, this Court permitted the respondents to declare the results of the said oral test, according to which the petitioners did not fall within the zone of consideration.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that since the petitioners failed to come within the zone of consideration, they were not

selected for appointment. Consequently, he submitted that the cause of action in the writ petition does not survive.

3.In view of the aforementioned submissions, and since the petitioners, having been permitted to participate in the written and oral tests, failed to secure selection for appointment, this Court is of the view that the cause of action in these writ petitions does not survive for consideration. Accordingly, no further orders are necessary.

4.Accordingly, the writ petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently,

connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
