Rectification order dated 29.11.2024 is assailed in this writ petition.

Adverting to order dated 19.08.2024, learned counsel for the petitioner

submits that said order was carried in appeal and such appeal is pending. Referring to the rectification order, learned counsel submits that said order duplicates matters forming the subject of order dated 19.08.2024, which is pending consideration before the appellate authority.

Mr.R.Sethu Prabakaran, learned Government Counsel (Tax), accepts notice for the respondent. On instructions, he confirms that issues dealt with in the rectification order formed a part of order in original dated 19.08.2024.

In view of the above submissions, the rectification order cannot be sustained. Hence, said order is quashed and there will no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
