Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned Government Counsel, takes notice for the respondent.

The petitioners have filed these Writ Petitions seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to receive and consider their online applications dated 08.06.2026 submitted in Form CCAP, along with the prescribed fee, for the grant of an autorickshaw permit to operate within a radius of 30 kilometres from Salem Town Old Bus Stand, Salem, Salem District.

The petitioners state that the Government of Tamil Nadu has issued orders enabling the grant of autorickshaw permits upon receipt of applications. With the intention of obtaining a fresh permit, the petitioners submitted the

The learned Government Counsel, on instructions, submitted that the petitioners’ applications would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Recording the said submission, these Writ Petitions are disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioners’ applications dated 08.06.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with
