This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a mandamus, directing

the 2^nd and 3^rd respondents to grant permission to the petitioner college to fill up the 4 Teaching Staff posts in various department namely, Economics-1, Computer Science-2 and Mathematics-1 in the sanctioned vacancies and approve the said appointments.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that

the petitioner College has been sanctioned 81 Teaching posts of Assistant Professors under the Aided Scheme vide proceedings of the 2^nd respondent dated 28.10.1999. Out of the above said 81 posts, 4 posts of Assistant Professors have fallen vacant in the Department of Economics, Computer Science and Mathematics and, for filling up the said vacancies, the petitioner forwarded a proposal to the 2^nd respondent, in turn, the 2^nd respondent forwarded the same to the 1^st respondent. However, the 1^st respondent has not yet taken any decision thereby, the present writ petition is filed.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the 1^st respondent will consider the proposal of the petitioner dated 02.06.2025 and pass appropriate orders within a specified time.
