This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner’s application dated 03.06.2025 (Application No : 2/ 01155 / 2025-26 / KKALAI ADS) and grant appropriate license for erection of hoarding within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed an application to the respondents dated 03.06.2025 seeking license for erection of hoarding. However, the said application has not been considered so far by respondents. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has come before this Court.

At the outset, it was submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents 2 and 3 that the application dated 03.06.2025 filed by the petitioner would be considered by the third respondent and appropriate orders would be passed within a time frame fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioner.

In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the application dated 03.06.2025 of the petitioner, on its own merits and pass appropriate orders

in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested persons, within a period of four weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for receipt of certified copy

of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the application and it is open to the concerned respondent

¶28

to consider the application on its own merits and in accordance with law.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
