respondent to consider the representation of the Petitioner sent vide Letter dated 04.03.2024 requesting Respondent No.2 to de-freeze the Petitioner’s current Account bearing No.0214102000013758 within the stipulated period.

2.On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submits that the petitioner being one of the victims already received the entire amount which he deposited viz. Rs.1,58,49,000/- during the investigation. Some of the other victims money is also deposited in petitioner’s account which is more than the amount deposited by the petitioner. During the investigation, a sum of Rs.1,90,00,000/- was deposited into the petitioner’s current account. So far as the remaining amount is concerned, the 1^st respondent directed to create lien over the amount which is excessively deposited in the petitioner’s account. That apart, now the investigation is almost completed and preliminary final report has been filed before the concerned jurisdictional court.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner and some of the victims deposited huge amount, as directed by the 1^st respondent, by creation of lien over the said amount, now the excess amount is lying in the petitioner’s account without any purpose.

4.In view of the above, the 1^st respondent is hereby directed to complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of twelve (12) weeks

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the meanwhile, if any victims claimed over the amount which is now lying in the petitioner’s current account, to be disbursed to them in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No
