Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd Respondent to dispose of Application dated 03.03.2023 and 11.05.2026 for modification of entries in Survey No.39, 40/1, 41 and 58/4 of Siddanapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri district and to implement of the 3rd Respondent order dated in ROC.UDR 19/88/H dated 09.09.1988 and to restore the Patta for lands in S.No.39, 40/1, 41 and 58/4 of Siddanapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District to total extend of 4.33 cents on perusal of the documents and revenue records and in terms of Section 10 of Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 read with Rule 4(7) of Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Rules 1987.

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner’s applications dated 03.03.2023 and 11.05.2026, respectively.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an applications dated 03.03.2023 and 11.05.2026, before the respondents to modify the entries in Survey No.39, 40/1, 41 and 58/4 of Siddanapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri district and to implement order of the 3rd Respondent in ROC.UDR 19/88/H dated 09.09.1988 and to restore the Patta for lands in S.No.39, 40/1, 41 and 58/4 of Siddanapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District to total extend of 4.33 cents on perusal of the documents and revenue records and in terms of Section 10 of Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Act, 1983 read with Rule 4(7) of Tamil Nadu Patta Pass Book Rules 1987. However, the said applications were not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.

behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioner’s applications dated 03.03.2023 and 11.05.2026 will be considered within a period of eight weeks.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's applications dated 03.03.2023 and 11.05.2026, after issuing due notice to the petitioner and other aggrieved persons, if any, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
