This writ petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to make payment of Rs 16,54,000/- with interest to the petitioner for the work executed namely 1) laying approach road from perunkalathur Road to NH 205 Via, GRT Engineering college campus at Tirutani (Value of the work was Rs 9,05,000/- 2) laying approach road from NH 205 to GRT Engineering college campus at Tirutani (Value of the work was Rs 7,49,000/- by the petitioner as per the proceedings of the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka. no 256 / 2021 / A2 dated 15.04.2022 and the representations of the petitioner dated 19.02.2026

It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was allotted with a

work laying approach road by the third respondent in the year 2022. The petitioner successfully executed the work with fullest satisfaction of the respondent. The third respondent requested the first respondent dated 15.04.2022 for administrative sanction for making payment to the petitioner. The petitioner also made representations on 19.02.2026 and 09.03.2026 seeking payment, however, the same is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the first respondent to consider the

representations of the petitioner dated 19.02.2026 and 09.03.2026 and pass

¶28

appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
