This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of his representation dated 16.02.2026 with regard to his application submitted in
the year 2015 for appointment on compassionate grounds.
Munsif, Tambaram, by judgment dated 23.12.2022, declared the petitioner's father as “Civil dead”. According to the petitioner, he applied

for appointment on compassionate grounds in the year 2015. His educational certificates and other relevant records were verified by the authorities, and the necessary certificates were also obtained from the Revenue Authorities. Even though the authorities called for and processed the relevant records, no orders have been passed till date. In the above circumstances, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 16.02.2026 to the respondents requesting them to consider his claim for compassionate appointment. Since the said representation has been kept pending without any progress, the present writ petition has been filed.
