The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 13.02.2025 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

The case of the petitioner is that he submitted a representation dated 13.02.2025 to the respondents seeking disbursement of balance 50% salary for the suspension period from 01.08.2002 to 20.05.2004 amount of Rs.1,51,343/and FPF amount of Rs.31,560/- aggregating to a total sum of Rs.1,82,903/together with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from 17.09.2009 till the date of actual payment. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Challenging the inaction on the part of the respondents, the petitioner is constrained to file the present Writ Petition.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the

submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.02.2025 seeking disbursement of 50% salary for the suspension period. The respondents shall pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There
