This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the 3^rd respondent to survey the petitioner’s land situated in survey No.192/5, patta No.384 to the extent of 01 ares 47 santhiyar or 11 Kuzhi Punchai land situated in Soorakudi Village, Thirunallar Taluk, Karaikal District, Puducherry (U.T) based on the receipt dated 8.10.2025 issued by the second respondent.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner

made a representation to the 2^nd respondent requesting to survey the land morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Though the petitioner received notice from the 2^nd respondent stating that on 10.10.2025, the survey would be conducted, the survey was not conducted on the said dated.

Thereafter, the petitioner again made a representations on 24.12.2025 and 26.12.2025 to the respondents 2 and 3. Since no action was taken, the petitioner made another representation dated 18.02.2026 to the 1^st respondent. Since none

of the applications were considered by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed.

3.Mr.V.Vasanthakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader (P), who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner’s representations will be considered and disposed of within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

5.Considering the submissions made by both parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner’s representations dated 24.12.2025, 26.12.2025 and 18.02.2026 and conduct a survey and demarcate the subject property, in accordance with the law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing prior notice to the petitioner and respondents 4 and 5. If any need arises for Police assistance, it is open to the respondents 2 and 3 to
