Sounthar, J.), order dated 06-05-2026 in WP No. 17676 of 2026: writ petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India by K.Yuvaraj seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the Collector of Chennai District and the Tahsildar, Madhavaram Taluk, to consider his representation dated 07.04.2026 and to conduct a survey of his patta land in Madhavaram Village, Chelliayamman Nagar (Survey No. 437/2A, T.S.No. 15/12, Block No.5, Ward-B, 844 sq.ft out of 4454 sq.ft.). The petitioner had bought the property from C.Aswini and obtained patta. The Special Government Pleader (Mr.P.Balathandayutham) stated that no online survey application had been submitted, so the request could not be considered. The petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent to conduct survey of the property of the petitioner situated in Survey No. 437/2A, T.S.No. 15/12, Block No.5, Ward -B, Madhavaram Taluk, Greater Chennai Corporation.

It is the case of the petitioner that the subject property was purchased by him from one C.Aswini and he also got patta for the same in his name. The petitioner submitted a representation on 07.04.2026 seeking survey of the property purchased by him and the same has not been considered by the 2^nd respondent. Hence, he has come before this Court.

Mr.P.Balathandayutham, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent, submitted that petitioner has not submitted any online application seeking survey of the property. Hence, his request cannot be considered.

In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to submit proper online application together with necessary fees within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. On submission of online application and payment of necessary fees by the petitioner, the 2^nd respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders in accordance with the law within a further period of four weeks.
