This Writ Petition is filed seeking for early disposal of the

petitioner’s representation, dated 09.01.2026 seeking for cancellation of

patta standing in the name of unknown persons for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition.

According to the petitioner, erroneously, pursuant to the UDR

scheme, patta has been issued for the subject property in the name of unknown persons. The petitioner seeks for cancellation of the said patta. The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this Writ Petition in support of the petitioner’s request seeking for cancellation of the patta standing in the name of unknown persons for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition.

Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents.

No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by

directing the first respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation, dated 09.01.2026 seeking for cancellation of the patta standing in the name of unknown persons for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties which includes the persons, in whose name presently, the patta stands, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
