Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned Notification issued by the 3^rd respondent vide his proceedings No. A-34012/15/E-5/PEA/2025 dated 13.03.2026 (Advertisement Nos. 0l/CGL/PEA/2026 and 01/ CGL/PEA/2026) and quash the same as illegal and consequentially to direct the respondents to accept the petitioner’s offline application and permit her to participate in the selection process under the UR category.

This writ petition is filed for the following relief:

petitioner’s offline application and permit her to participate in the selection process under the UR category.”

The petitioner has completed her Diploma in Computer

Science in the year 2015 and B.E., in the year 2019. The petitioner would submit that the 2^nd respondent has issued a notification bearing No.A-34012/3/E-5/PEA/2025 dated 13.03.2026 (Advertisement Nos. 0l/CGL/PEA/2026 and A-034012/15/E-5/PEA/2025 calling for applications through online mode for several posts under various departments in the Union Territory of Puducherry. The case of the petitioner is that the online portal refused to register and accept her application solely on the ground that she is not a resident / nativity holder of Puducherry. Aggrieved thus, the petitioner is before this Court.
