The petition has been filed to direct the respondents to pass orders for regularization of service of the petitioner from the date of appointment on 16.05.2018 as Assistant Surgeon with declaration of probation and for sanctioning of annual increments and other service benefits including payment of arrears of salary and other service benefits along with interest in consideration of representation submitted by the petitioner dated 07.10.2025 within a time frame.

It is the case of the petitioner that he was appointed as Assistant Surgeon on 15.05.2018 and joined service on 16.05.2018 at Government Primary Health Centre, Athanur. While so, he completed his department examinations and subsequently, working as Assistant Professor in the Department of DVL at Periyar Government Hospital, Chennai. Despite his seven years of continuous service, he is not regularized and his probation has not been declared.

Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner made a representation dated

07.10.2025 before the respondents, for which, there is no response till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Considering the relief now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.10.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders if the petitioner is eligible for the relief claimed for, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
