PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 06.02.2026 with regard to implement the Grama Sabha Resolution No.18, dated 26.01.2020 passed by the Grama Sabha of Puravipalayam Panchayat seeking closure of existing quarries and restraining the grant of any new quarry licenses, stone crushers, M-Sand and P-Sand units within the limits of Puravipalayam Panchayat, within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon’ble court.
